Synopsis

Dermot O'Leary unveils the public's verdict from the inaugural live results show. The contestants with the fewest votes face a second plea for support, singing once more in the final contest. Afterwards, the judges will determine which performer must depart from the competition. The evening also features the debut performance of last year’s champion, Joe McElderry, showcasing his latest single.
