It's obvious that The Witcher held my attention because I watched it all in one sitting. To be upfront, I don’t usually enjoy medieval stories very much. However, there was something unique about The Witcher that caught my interest. I acknowledge that the show isn’t perfect; some of the supporting actors weren't particularly impressive, and the plot felt predictable at times. Occasionally, events unfolded a little too easily to move the story forward. Despite these issues, the positives definitely outweighed the negatives. The editing style, which reminded me of *Dunkirk*, was largely effective, even if it left some questions unanswered—I’m hoping those get resolved in the next season. Henry Cavill gave an outstanding performance as Geralt. The writing also stood out due to its origins in the original material. The series maintained a good rhythm and became more engaging with each episode. I actually liked this better than *Game of Thrones*, though I expect some people will disagree with me about that.
