Synopsis

The girls are shaken by a brush with mortality. The boys find themselves forced to defend against a relentless, predatory force. Interspersed throughout the narrative are recollections of Scotty and Bo's past, revealing the hardships they have endured and explaining the deep-seated distrust they harbor for their fellow survivors.
