Synopsis

The betrothal of Princess Elizabeth to Henry Tudor casts a long shadow over the court, fraying allegiances. Richard understands he can no longer evade the conflict that will determine his claim to the throne. Margaret, uncertain of her husband's allegiance, fears for her son's future. With the final struggle for the crown imminent, Elizabeth persists in her designs to place her daughter upon it, regardless of the cost.
