The show’s opening credits claim it's "based on The Wheel of Time," but that statement needs to be taken with a huge grain of salt; it would be more accurate to say it draws very loose inspiration from certain elements. I honestly can’t figure out what the people behind this were going for. They upset fans by disregarding established details and storylines, then using bits and pieces to construct something truly bad. Meanwhile, viewers who haven't read the books are left feeling bored by a drama that lacks substance and doesn't quite hold together. Throughout watching this terrible show, I mostly felt bored, irritated, and angry.
