Synopsis

From January to December of 1943, the United States fully committed to war, mobilizing its resources both at home and abroad. Factories operated without pause, churning out supplies. In North Africa and then Italy, raw recruits began the arduous process of learning to fight. Simultaneously, over Europe, thousands of American airmen risked everything on daylight bombing raids, facing seemingly insurmountable challenges.
