Synopsis

John-Boy secured a position reading aloud to a young woman who was blind. From their first encounter, she regarded him with open hostility, her bitterness seemingly directed at the world itself. A visit to Walton’s Mountain, however, began to subtly shift her perspective, revealing a capacity for gratitude she had long suppressed.
