Synopsis

The orphaned Hobart Shank arrives at the Walton household as a teenager, and John immediately sets about securing him a contract as a professional baseball pitcher. A fall from the treehouse, however, results in a broken arm, dashing Hobart's hopes for a career in the major leagues.
