Synopsis

It is Grandma’s sixty-eighth birthday, and with it, the dual realities of aging press upon her. Old age is keenly felt as she navigates this new chapter. For Mary Ellen, now fourteen, represents an insurmountable obstacle between her and a college student who has captured her affections.
