Synopsis

A tremor of apprehension ran through John Boy as he prepared for his first hunt, the weight of taking a life heavy on his young shoulders. The day's proceedings, however, took an unforeseen turn when he found himself in mortal danger, a bear suddenly attacking, and it was John who intervened to save him. Simultaneously, Mary Ellen wrestled with a more trivial dilemma: the allure of a new dress battling with the practicality of a baseball mitt.
