It's not terrible, especially considering it blends horror and drama elements. Those who have a strong interest in zombie stories and want to see the consequences play out over years for a large group of characters will likely appreciate this series. While there are definitely frightening scenes involving zombies and the gore and special effects are exceptionally well done, the show primarily focuses on interpersonal relationships amidst an apocalypse and the process of rebuilding society or simply surviving day by day.
