Daryl Dixon’s debut was stronger than other shows branching off from The Walking Dead, but the quality suffers because of unbelievable and occasionally absurd plot developments. The series initially seemed promising for a European version of the story, yet the second episode featured writing that felt more appropriate for something like "The Famous Five." Things didn't improve with the third installment, which diminished the entire concept into an over-the-top spectacle. A basic absence of believability and realism, along with any real feeling of urgency, undermines the idea that this is a serious, gritty post-apocalyptic series. Ultimately, the writing has to be corrected if the show hopes to connect with older viewers; however, after watching three episodes, I don’t think it will happen. I've lost interest completely.
