Synopsis

They fell from the bed, but it was not the fall itself that mattered. It was the cornice, a sudden descent from above, that struck them. A father, hearing the commotion, rushed to the scene, intending to repair the damage. He, too, fell, and found himself in a hospital bed. Kostya is consumed by guilt.
