It’s disheartening when a drama begins promisingly only to decline significantly as it progresses, and that downturn affected nearly every element, even the performances. There was a sense that everyone connected with the production had lost interest. While I did find some enjoyment in the initial episodes, Je Yi and Soo Yeon consistently elicited eye-rolls and disrupted the flow whenever they appeared; they were easily the weakest aspects of the entire series. Predictably, when the true antagonist was revealed, he felt like a poorly conceived parody lacking any real substance or thoughtful writing. It's clear that Namkoong carried an immense burden to keep the drama from completely falling apart. The soundtrack served its purpose occasionally, but at other times it simply faded into the background. Despite these issues, it remains watchable, and the relatively brief length was a plus, but don’t anticipate anything exceptional.
