Synopsis

The first of February, 1933. Late into the night, John "The Cropper" Cropsie, enforcer for Jules Flack, head of the Westside combine, stood in the shadowed alley behind the Lido Burlesque house, near the stagedoor entrance. He fired shots into David Alpine, the combine's primary liquor supplier, a man who had also been dealing with rival interests. The following night, Eliot Ness would have Cropsie recreate the shooting before a witness.
