Synopsis

Joe Lassiter was considered the most valuable asset in the entire bootlegging operation. He and his companion, Nick Karabinos, had just arrived in Chicago by train; Lassiter had journeyed a thousand miles for a deal worth two hundred and fifty thousand dollars: to construct a brewery impervious to law enforcement. At the abandoned Bell Club – the one Ness had dismantled just last week – Lassiter met with Louis Tully, the bootlegging kingpin, and his lieutenants.
