Synopsis

The Jazz Age blossomed in the nineteen twenties. It is now 1930, and on Chicago’s Gold Coast, a nightclub named “Goose Gander’s Golden Egg” pulses with the rhythm of jazz. Eddie Moon, a blues musician, wails on his cornet with the band. A conversation then takes place between Lucky, a man of the underworld, and Ray “Goose” Gander. Lucky asks for a favor: to smuggle Lou Cagan’s liquor through Goose’s establishment. Ray declines; the strongest beverage served in his club is coffee. Suddenly, Lucky
