Synopsis

Chicago, October 1932. Moments after the Globe's chief reporter, Carlton Edmunds, was shot, Eliot Ness and his men arrived at the scene. The initial impression was that a stray bullet from a gunfight had struck Edmunds; he was, it seemed, merely an unfortunate bystander caught in the crossfire.
