Synopsis

Late Summer, 1932. In Chicago, Eliot Ness and his team had successfully disrupted the flow of narcotics from Asia and southern Europe into the city. Yet, the criminal underworld adapted, finding new methods to supply the five thousand addicts who craved oblivion. The Syndicate now resorted to raiding drugstores, doctors' offices, and wholesale pharmaceutical warehouses—any establishment that maintained a stock of pain-relieving medications.
