Synopsis

The night of April 16, 1931, found New Jersey under the growing influence of Waxey Gordon, the unchallenged king of New York's beer trade. Gordon was aggressively expanding into New Jersey, a territory then controlled by Frankie Dunn, along with Roger Weiden and known as "Bugs." A gang war had erupted, a brutal struggle to seize dominance over the state's lucrative beer market.
