Synopsis

Chicago. By mid-1933, Eliot Ness and his Untouchables had nearly brought the production and sale of whiskey to a halt in the city. Yet, the most significant purveyor remained active: Giuseppe Marconi, also known as Gus Marco. By day, he presented himself as a respectable owner of a taxi garage; by night, however, he trafficked in illegal liquor. Beneath his legitimate business, Marconi operated a vast, hidden distillery where he processed stolen industrial alcohol.
