Synopsis

Chicago, April 25, 1932. Al Capone’s imprisonment for income tax evasion has left a power vacuum, filled by his eight lieutenants. From their headquarters at the Montmartre Club in Cicero, a mere four miles west of Chicago, they maintain control. Capone’s illicit liquor shipments are routinely intercepted, his establishments subjected to gunfire, and his breweries are systematically dismantled – a process undertaken not only by Eliot Ness, but also by competing criminal organizations.
