Synopsis

Chicago, summer of 1931. Eliot Ness and his Untouchables had dismantled the major breweries controlled by organized crime. Yet, racketeers exploited the hardship and desperation of many immigrants, compelling them to produce a gallon of whiskey daily in clandestine home stills – rudimentary devices assembled for less than three dollars.
