This is an enjoyable series. The performers are excellent in their respective parts. Provided they avoid overtly progressive themes and maintain a solid narrative thread, it could potentially develop into something with a dedicated following. However, if certain elements—specifically, the depiction of LGBTQ+ characters, the portrayal of a mixed-race character’s behavior, and the explanation for a young actor's rapid aging—aren’t handled carefully, the show is likely to fail as spectacularly as Westworld did in its third and fourth seasons.
