Synopsis

Max Phillips, a man consumed by alcohol and the illicit world of gambling, carried a deep regret: the knowledge that he had failed as a father to his son, Pip. Pip had returned from the war in South Vietnam bearing grievous wounds. A trip to a bustling amusement park offers them both a fragile opportunity for redemption.
