Synopsis

David Gurney awoke to a disconcerting reality: he was utterly unknown. His wife regarded him with unfamiliar eyes, his colleagues offered polite but vacant greetings, his closest friend seemed a stranger, and even his own mother displayed a bewildered detachment. He existed, yet was invisible to those who should have known him best.
