Synopsis

Eager and idealistic, a young soldier finds his understanding of war irrevocably altered by an impossible event. He inexplicably swaps places with a Japanese officer, thrust into a position where he witnesses a desperate attempt to prevent a reckless charge by the officer's own commander against American lines.
