Synopsis

Sir Thomas More stood firm against Henry's decree, refusing to ask his subjects to swear an oath of allegiance and acknowledgment of the King’s authority over both church and state. Meanwhile, Anne Boleyn became acutely aware of the King's penchant for multiple affections. She subtly acknowledged this inclination, offering her blessing to his subsequent chosen favorite. Furthermore, Anne engaged in a sharp exchange with Lady Mary, Henry’s daughter.
