I’ve been following this series from the beginning and have found it very entertaining. Braydon is a particular favorite of Zmine, and Coogan serves as a supportive friend—a sort of counterpoint to his personality. Both actors do convincing celebrity impressions, although it seems like Coogan's character isn't quite worthy of his abilities; he allows Bryson to pressure him into attempting to match or exceed the impressions. I had to consciously remember that these are fictionalized versions of themselves, suggesting a possible reflection of their actual friendship, though not necessarily an accurate portrayal. For instance, Brydon’s wife, who sends him away for a season, is portrayed as an actress and isn't his real-life partner. Does this imply Coogan isn’t the charming womanizer he sometimes appears to be? It's hard to say. Just relax and let the show unfold. The scenes set in restaurants are fascinating and appear authentic, with their complicated ingredients, fancy displays and descriptions, and small servings (along with high prices). They help bring a sense of reality to the program.
