The humor is painfully obvious; the writing seems determined to spell out every joke as if viewers wouldn’t otherwise get it. Considering the number of well-known actors involved, I have to wonder whether they were doing favors for someone or simply indulging in a vanity project. The show's appeal seems entirely dependent on its cast, attempting to distract from weak writing and storylines that drag out over an entire episode before resolving. The shaky camera work is another attempt at misdirection, intended to keep the audience too busy noticing the technique to consider how unfunny what they’re seeing actually is—especially when a particularly bad joke comes along.
