Synopsis

Mother Abagail chooses, with a curious discernment, the voice of the young deaf man, Nick Andros, to serve as her link to the Committee she has established in Boulder. The arrival of a troubling stranger in the Boulder Free Zone sends tremors through both the Committee and the community. Meanwhile, elsewhere within the Free Zone, Nadine Cross is troubled by a lingering memory from her past.
