I had a reason to abandon IMDb and find this site because my criticisms of this production were removed, and it’s quite disappointing. A significant issue is Woopie; she seems less focused on acting these days, consumed by political matters, and that's evident in her performance. Similarly, the 2020 adaptation of *The Stand* also felt influenced by politics, deviating considerably from the book’s narrative. It appeared the focus was on fulfilling predetermined requirements for all productions rather than developing a compelling plot or providing any real enjoyment.
