Synopsis

Now, hundreds have gathered in Boulder, Colorado, under the guidance of Mother Abigail, though Randall Flagg has dispatched Nadine Cross to slip into their midst. Finding Larry beyond her reach, she turns her attention toward Harold. Yet, as the community begins to establish a semblance of order, Mother Abigail departs from Boulder. A growing unease about Randall Flagg’s activities in Las Vegas prompts the residents to select three individuals and send them westward to discover his intentions.
