Synopsis

As a boy, Marlow’s first glimpse of London failed to inspire him. Now, the possibility of a film adaptation of his novel complicated matters further. His recollections, his hardboiled detective stories from the thirties, and the insidious progress of his illness conspired to blur the edges of his perception, creating a subtly altered reality.
