Synopsis

A simmering conflict develops between Homer and the sanitation workers of Springfield, culminating in his decision to seek the office of Sanitation Commissioner. He secures victory through a disreputable campaign, yet finds himself unable to fulfill the grandiose pledges he made to the citizenry.
