Synopsis

A mandated vacation has left Smithers with the delicate task of finding a suitable substitute – one who won't overshadow his own meticulous performance. Homer appears, at first glance, to be an ideal candidate. However, a spontaneous and unexpected display of emotion prompts Mr. Burns to reassert his own authority.
