Synopsis

The Simpsons accompany the other families of Springfield on the Van Houten's yearly pilgrimage to Costa Rica, a journey clearly beyond their means. While on vacation, Homer strikes up an acquaintance with Patty’s new companion, Evelyn, and Lisa endeavors to uncover the true source of the Van Houtens' recurring ability to afford such an extravagant trip.
