Synopsis

Helen Lovejoy’s plea for a youth pastor finds an answer in Bode Wright, a charismatic young preacher hailing from Michigan. Bode swiftly wins over the Springfield congregation with his easy manner and progressive views on faith. But Reverend Lovejoy, a man already wary of outsiders, grows suspicious and resolves to delve into the newcomer's history.
