Synopsis

Upon witnessing a forgotten broadcast of Orson Welles concerning Nostradamus, Mr. Burns becomes convinced of the world's imminent demise and resolves to construct a vessel capable of surviving it. Simultaneously, Professor Frink devises a novel method for assessing the populace of Springfield, prompted by Burns' desire to select a crew for his planned voyage into the cosmos.
