Synopsis

The diagnosis of narcolepsy brought Homer no peace, and he returned not to the quiet solace of home with prescribed medication, but instead with a bottle of alcohol. He and Marge sought the guidance of a marriage counselor, a step that ultimately led to a trial separation. During this time, Homer began a relationship with a woman in her twenties.
