Synopsis

A hush had fallen over Springfield, the snow a soft blanket on the world. Amidst the quiet, Lisa confided in Bart, explaining a connection between herself and Maggie that she believed would forever remain beyond his grasp – a consequence of his lack of a sibling. Prompted by this, Bart turned to Homer with a heartfelt plea for a baby brother. Homer’s refusal only fueled Bart's determination; he set off for the Springfield Orphanage, seeking, in his mind, the very thing he lacked.
