Synopsis

Homer found an unlikely ally in Mel Gibson just as the actor completed a remake of *Mr. Smith Goes to Washington*. Quickly, Homer persuaded Gibson to inject a greater degree of violence into the project, a decision that ultimately led to unforeseen and regrettable consequences.
