Sometimes you stumble across something tucked away in the freezer that you’d completely forgotten about. That's my reaction to The Simpsons these days. I think the show’s humor has definitely run its course and feels worn out now. It’s disappointing it hasn’t been put aside, because what it achieved initially—debuting on "The Tracey Ullman Show" (does anyone recall her?)—was truly excellent, clever, and relevant to the times. I'd prefer to hold onto my memories of how good The Simpsons used to be rather than accept what it is now. I’m giving it a 4/10.
