Synopsis

Blackwell cautions Cassie and Adam that their affection might be fated, yet burdened with a terrible affliction. He advises them to seek out Cassie’s grandmother, Jane, hoping she possesses a remedy. Jane warns Cassie that the unleashing of this affliction will claim a life within the Circle. Separately, Eva begins to shadow Faye, while Charles prepares his next move against Blackwell.
