I had my doubts initially regarding this series, given its focus on young characters and magical elements. My expectation was that it would resemble other predictable shows like Vampire Diaries, but thankfully, that wasn’t the case. Even within the first three episodes, the show becomes surprisingly gripping with consistently moving storylines. The personalities feel fleshed out, and the performers do a commendable job. The narrative is engaging enough to keep you wanting to see what happens next, episode after episode, all the way through the finale. I was genuinely upset to learn that this TV show had been canceled. It’s definitely one that deserves more recognition; it would be great if they could bring it back in some form.
