Synopsis

The night before launch, Louise discovers Shepard's infidelity in Tijuana. Trudy watches as Gordo makes a cynical remark about women astronauts on television. Glenn anticipates the inevitable sting of public knowledge that he will not be the first to reach space. A fragile equilibrium shatters as Shepard and Glenn are confined together amidst a maelstrom of weather delays, marital strife, and an intrusive press.
