Synopsis

As the hospital's prescription drug trials begin to yield life-threatening side effects, Nic grows increasingly fearful for her sister Jessie's well-being. Driven by this concern, she and Conrad dedicate themselves to persuading Bell that the trials pose unacceptable risks. Elsewhere, Mina, Austin, and Kit must overcome their rivalry to collaborate on a patient whose condition is rapidly declining, while Devon enlists Julian as the unwitting beta tester for a product he has conceived.
