Synopsis

Frankie turned to her younger sister, Mamie, and asked what she would do if faced with the same choice. Mamie replied that she’d remain in San Diego, even if it meant unhappiness; a difference, she acknowledged, between herself and Frankie. Frankie longed for the producer to tell her she could return home, find some clarity, and then rejoin them in San Diego. She was loath to abandon everything and felt a knot of anxiety tightening with each passing moment as she awaited news of her future. K
