Synopsis

The hastily repaired trap fractured under pressure, leaving a hairline crack that went unnoticed until it was too late. When the team deployed it on their assignment, the contained essence began to seep outwards, subtly at first. Then, with an unsettling vitality, it stirred within the mundane – animating everyday objects and imbuing them with a strange, nascent life.
