I found myself engaged initially, but continued viewing revealed a lack of genuine peril for the central figures. The show attempted to compensate later on, demonstrating that the primary characters wouldn’t consistently succeed; however, this felt tacked on. For much of its run time, you can expect the lead actors to prevail. That doesn't seem appropriate for a horror program of this kind.
